Conclusion of contract
The contract is concluded between the hirer and the company Ski Rental “Am Hexenritt”, Grosse Wurmbergerstrasse/Parkplatz Hexenritt.
Rentals take place under the following conditions:
The rental fee is determined at the prices stated on the homepage and in the business premises of the rental company. These refer to the selectable equipment and/or equipment category. An online booking is valid as soon as the booking confirmation is received by the rental company. An online reservation is valid until 9 a.m. of the first reservation day. If the rental equipment is not collected by this point, the reservation looses its validity.
Provision and returning of rental equipment. The opening hours of the ski rental are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The rental equipment is to be returned by 5 p.m. on the day of rental. Rentals after 5 p.m. are billed from the following day onwards.
Rental payment: Payment of the entire rental price concludes the rental agreement. Until complete payment has been made, the rental equipment is not provided. The rental price applies only for consecutive days.
Before rental equipment is provided, a deposit has to be made. For this purpose, a personal document of the hirer and/or personal ID or passport is required. To prevent misuse or theft, the ski rental makes a copy of the document. The hirer declares their agreement with the copying of the document.
Passing on of rental equipment to third parties is not permitted. The hirer is solely responsible for the rental equipment and shall treat it with care. The hirer shall not leave equipment unattended and shall store it securely. The hirer shall store the rental equipment in the ski room of their hotel, in a locked vehicle or by renting a storage locker. The hirer is fully liable for the equipment made available to them for the duration of the rental, e.g. in case of theft or damage.
Safety precautions: The ski rental's equipment is controlled and adjusted as per the stipulations of ISO Norm 11088. When renting one of our rental products in combination with own winter sports equipment (e.g. ski boots), we highly recommend adjusting these as per ISO Norm 11088. This adjustment can be made on-site and takes approx. 10 minutes. A fee is charged for this. Should the hirer choose not to carry out this top security adjustment, the ski bindings are adjusted to the ISO figure manually.
No liability is assumed for accidents of any kind. The ski rental is not liable for damages that are caused by incorrect information, particularly as regards the settings of bindings, provided by the hirer.
In case of damages or breakages, the hirer shall bear the costs of repairs. When repairs are not possible, the hirer shall reimburse the current value of the rented equipment. In case of theft, proof of the police report is always required. If this report cannot be provided, the current value of the rental equipment shall be reimbursed.
Cancellation of contract
In case of injury or illness of the hirer during the rental period, provision of a doctor’s note means the following regulations apply: a.) A reimbursement of parts of the rental fee is only possible if the rental equipment is returned to the rental company immediately after an injury/illness occurs. b.) If item a. is complied with and a doctor’s note is provided, the rental fee for the subsequent rental days is reimbursed, via bank transfer where applicable. Unfavourable weather conditions or other impediments not caused by the rental company do not result in claims for reimbursement.
Personal data gathered in the course of the business transaction shall be processed and used exclusively for the processing of online reservations and queries as per the applicable data protection regulations. Long-term storage or use of the data for purposes other than the business transaction shall not take place. The hirer’s data shall not be sold, rented or provided to third parties.
Place of jurisdiction
The place of jurisdiction in case of disputes is the jurisdiction of the company location.
